zhi cha Day at clementi
Eating zhi cha at clementi
Ok. I'm getting better except with the slight itch in my throat. And today met up wif the buddies for dinner at clementi.
6 of us met up, bonez, piggy, apple, rain, doc. After walking one big round at clementi, we realised there really isn;t much stalls wif zhi cha and we settled with one that seems to be selling reasonably nice food.
6 gals sitting at round King arthur's table and we tucked in. Well, friday nite should be something to look forward to..cos its approaching the weekend.. Its my fav day of the week too.
It was a nice meal, eat and tok. However, as we were paying the bill, which sums up to $61, an uncle sitting just at the table next to us was an interesting one.
He actually kept telling the lady who collected our money to charge us $60. haaha. And he's just sitting there drinking beer. IMO...I think he just wants to strike up a conversation with the lady..cos he's sitting alone and drinking beer on a fri nite.
The lady got slightly irritated and retorted that if he'd pay thr $1, she'd have no problem with it. She continued with business by taking orders of other customers and seems pissed that someone would actually suggest that. haha.
We walked along the shops and rain bought a bottom and piggy and apple bought tee shirts! Apple was afraid that I'd scold her for buying things that she actually hid her clothes in her bag. hahaa. In the end I still praised her "Good, not bad!" for the buying of tee. hahaa. Just some hilarious moments.
Oh..and apple mentioned that she applied for the exchange studies abroad to France! Hoo-HOO!I was happy for her that she could get an opportunity to go for such exchanges, how many times in your life would anyone be able to study in france and see the beautiful side of Europe. Unless of cos we don mention those seen in movies.
She could even meet Henry Thierry(cute eh..hehe) on the streets of France and pose a picture with him..keke. But she doesn't watch soccer, so she wouldn't care. Hmm...but ultimately its the exposure abroad to widen her views and look at places outside our tiny simgapore. And studying there for a month would surely be a fantastic experience ..exciting. I definitely love to go Europe in the future.. London, U.K. Venice..I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her in the meantime.
All the best in the application Apple!
Then today as we're going home..we stood outside the clementi Mac and talked. Yes, we just stood in a circle by the steps and yaddled. The best thing bout these gals is that it's always great talking to them. Cos the jokes and stuffs that are talked about just cracks me up i guess. Rain esp always has her intriging working experiences to share. And short chats with each of them got me updated with how each of them are doing. hehe.It something that I did miss for the past year.
And Doc found another job interview so that she can get out of her sucky job.The amazing thing is that the manager wanna fetch her from her home to the interview place. How weird is that, but its also a privilege.hehee.Good luck to her.
I am still in search of my ideal job. Hopes still there.
Rain and doc said some pieces of advice,"Enjoy while you can, cos when u start working...its never gonna be the same.." Sound advice.
Yea, I am searching for the job that I can put my skills to use and at the same time job satisfaction plays an important part too. Cos I wouldn't wanna work for something that I dislike and yet be stuck working there. I might just go and sell Ice-cream/geletto. That's not such a bad idea too eh.
"Ting-a-ling-a-ling, Ice-cream!!" I'd sell flavours such as rum and raisin, lemon subert, english chocolate, mango passion..etc. And i'd drive a mini van around spore, my company would be called :
Zee's Ice-cream...A moment's pleasure on the go..that would be my slogan. Catchy and cool. Little kids would run up to me when I drive past the landed properties or HDB flats looking in awe at my ice creams and buy a tub home.
My mini-van would be black and white. Cow prints. ahhaa. wat do you think of my idea?
Ok, enough of day dreaming in the middle of sat afternoon.
I'm gonna watch Hitch in the evening with Dicky. He's had a long hard week of tests, and I haven't seen him for a long time.
alrighty, I'm off.
BTW...The Manhunt competition winner JON JONSSON is in SPORE. I wanted to write bout him but keep forgetting. He's handsome and cool sufer dude. Like tarzan boy. hahaa. And he's got a bod to die for. He'll be in spore till mid april.Icelandic-Thai mix parentage made him such a good looker. I supported him since he's in the top 5. Way to go man!
I hope i bump into him when i'm out. I shall arm myself with my digi cam just in case. heehe.
ok, enough of crap. JON is CooooOoL!!!
