Happy New Year!!




It was a great New Year's celebration!

There weren't countdown, no champagne or fireworks, just a steamboat and movie: Bedtime Story with the usual gang and one New year's day there's BBQ again with the family!


Was super tiring but yet a fun one indeed..its like the only 2 times in a year where we would gather and do funny things.

This year...we played...TABOO! Singapore version.

Steamboat at yk's house followed by a midnight movie at JP.

And boy when we reached JP..there were so many people there that you'd think its 3pm in the afternoon. The Fairprice especially was filled with people..that checking out our titbit items took 20 mins to queue..

By the time we finished movie it was 1+am, and we walked to xw's house for a a game of taboo!

Somehow everytime we start on that game..we have to finish the whole box!

We played for 5 hours ..from 2+am all the way to 7+ ...

By 6 am..me and apple drifted off to laa laa land due to sleepiness.

Xw was next to Zzz..and the 4 people who were superbly awake carried on until they finished everything on the cards. hehhee..tat was a feat!

Great night to talk and play games..though there's no elaborated celebration, our gathering was a nice way to usher in the new year..


my food poisoning on 30th Dec made me not sleep for more than 24 hrs..and new year's eve too. Yup, in case u're wondering what did I eat..I ate Dallas chicken and had the worse food poisoning ever. Puking(7 times) and diarrhoea for the whole night.

Think I need to catch some winks now..toodles!

p/s: Bedtime story was very good, nice story line and its like adam sandler at his best! Definitely a must watch movie.
