Happy Birthday Papa!
Was Popster's 60th Big Birthday!
The whole family apart from Brother 1 who's working abroad..went to Marina Oriental Hotel's Melt Cafe for an International Buffet!
The food was really nice..and the ambience was great too..
Loads of seafood, and there's an outdoor BBQ grill section where there's different types of meat to select from.
Ate the sirloin steak and lamb, sausage and eggplant, and there's indian food..jap food too!
Yummy..I haven't eaten a buffet dinner..in like 2 years?
Ever since the incident where I almost fainted on the mrt platform due too too much eating..I've got a slight phobia of eating too much.
I love to eat by nature, I really do..but just that since then my stomach somehow just can't contain anymore than what I can eat now.
I was quite sad initially when I realised the amount of food I can eat in one seating has drastically reduced as compared to years ago..cos I would have to forgo certain kinds of food if I go buffets..
So if you see me unable to finish my rice..its cos I really am 80% full! And that amount to me..is the maximum I can eat at one time..sigh. But I can eat many times a day thou! Which I am still thankful for.
Ahh..
Bought a Bossa Nova cd by Lisa Ono after dinner at Marina square! Wanna start to listen to different types of music so that my grooves will improve at drumming...hopefully..
And I can drum a full Jay chou's song after learning for 4months.! hehehe..I think the best thing about drumming is the feel that you get while you're playing.. Its hard to explain by words, but I think one would understand if they play it for themselves. And if you were to play at a point where you're in your own element..its such an awesome feeling.. it feels as if there's only you're in another world..and you can imagine yourself as some superstar performing! But I still got a long way to go in the technique..but I'm enjoying every minute of it by practising whenever I can.
Ate so much just now..that I still feel bloated now..need to exercise more at tennis tml..

Saw will's post about Passion and Work which we talked bout at Timbre(which is super nice place btw), think my take on that is that..the most ideal situation would be combining passion with work, that is doing something you really like as a career, cos that brings you the money as well as satisfy your personal well-being in doing something you really enjoy.
But then..not everyone can achieve that, to have passion is to really enjoy the thing you're doing. Passion might not occur at work, so I find that in other activities. Which balances my life. Money is a passion too, which is why we work...but I still hope to find passion in work someday..not sure how soon that will happen..thats my 2 cents..
A random post again..been really busy at work, time to hit the sack again..nites all!
p/s: The charles & keith warehouse sale was a disappointment, but I got to get a nice bag after conquering the place!! *teehee* And its 25 days to christmas!!
