The Long Holiday


31st May - MambO night~!!

was a hell lot of fun on Wednesday night @Zouk.

The place was super darn crowded, and lucky there was a friend of Lt's frd who had a birthday bash there to get us in.

Was super duper fun man..happening and all, the last time I went zouk was last year may..hopefully it doesnt take me another year to visit the place again. Think will try to avoid the public holiday man..

Its like a countdown party there ..crowded until mad. But as long as the company was great, to brave through the crowd was worth it, had loads of fun with lt and bonez, and her 3 friends were a great spot too.hehe.

Put on my little dancing shoes and met lt around 930..by the time we got there slightly before 10, its like half the population of Singapore was there already, took us another hr to actually get into the place. Ooh..btw, I saw my poly classmate kw there...he's one of our 'Four Heavenly Kings' back in sch. hehehee..a surprise to see him sans the specs.

oo..the funny thing was that after we got in.. the birthday boy (21st bday!) was generous enough to offer us loads of drinks even though we don't know him at all, must be super rich guy.

Great music, most of all its nice to unwind with the gal pals and dance the night away with them.
It reminded me of the clubbing times in aussie land@Family, where we'd hit the clubs till it close..don't have the luxury of doing that now in Spore with the working hrs that I have.
oh my..even thinking of it makes me miss those times..

Maybe we could go again someday yea! And hopefully the next round apple could join us too.

31st May - Its Pirates Day!

Went for the Pirates of the Carribean @PS just now! Was a great movie, but think from the lack of sleep this morning, I almost fell asleep at 1 part of the show. haha..its a funny show nonetheless! Must watch out for Captain Jack Sparrow!

Another highlight of the night was the dinner I had before the movie, if you're not sure what to eat at PS, can try the Indonesian Grilled Chicken stall at the foodcourt!

Its like super good, exactly the same like the one I had in Meixin foodcourt at Market Street..but the stall disappeared when the place reopened after renovations. Tried that dish once at marina sq foodcourt..but it tastes lousy there.

Boy mentioned that the stall was v good at PS, and we headed down for that.

Indeed..it was goOOOooDddD! Took us 25mins to queue for that. Yummy!!

1st June - East Coast Park


Its the first time in 7 years that I went there..boy things change a whole lot.

Lots of pubs along the stretch leading to the Mac Area. The last time I went there's only 7-eleven and Mac.

Probably if they build something like KM8 @ sentosa it'll be even better..spice up the night life in singapore abit. hehe..

Went KTVing with the gals in the afternoon, it's a bittersweet moment..hmm..just wanna let apple know that, no matter what happens, there's still lots of friends and family who loves u more than the person.

You've climbed alot of ladders in different phases of your life, the difference for this ladder is that the distance for the steps in between are longer, thus it requires more energy to climb it.

You can definitely reach the destination with more perserverance, just like I've seen you conqure those in the past.

Was a great day spent with the gals, as coincidentally all of us were not working on a friday afternoon. hehee..what are the odds!?!

While looking at the sea at ECP, it definitely brought back those secondary sch memories..though its been years, but glad that we're still great buddies who hang out once in a blue moon.ehhe..

And bonez mentioned something that's very true, the situation between our group is like this: "the longer we know each other, the lesser we actually meet up. Think we already took the friendship for granted."

We probably meet about 4 times year(last year's statistic) as a group. When I mean group..it's 3 or more.

Yea..if you look around your other friends..think most of them would be doing the complete opposite.

Think its very true indeed. hhee..but that's "our culture" I guess.

Its all about how you balance relationship, friendship and kinship in your life.

I am still balancing mine.

2nd June - SHREK THE THIRD

One word to describe the movie:

Awesome!!

My favourite character: Donkey! It's got a wicked sense of humor and super cute!

I put on my MacDonalds Shrek ears while watching the movie, and it feels good.hehee.

Abit boliao I know, but hey..how many times can you do this at a movie theater without looking out of place?
